Terms and Conditions

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply.
'Hire Agreement' is the form outlining what we have agreed to based on your order for items in our hire collection. This form is provided to you prior to your wedding/function and it outlines all the details of our agreement.
'Business Day' means any day from Monday to Friday inclusive, excluding public holidays.
Your booking enquiry for wedding hire will be tentatively held for fourteen (14) days from the date The Rustic Barn accepts your booking.
To secure your booking, confirmation is required by return of your signed Hire Agreement and receipt of deposit payment. If these actions are not received by The Rustic Barn within fourteen days (14), the booking will be released and your requested items may no longer be available.
3.0 Hire agreement
The Hire Agreement form will collect the necessary information for us to complete your booking including, but not limited to: Name, DOB, Address, Phone Number, Email, Wedding Date, Venue, Ceremony Time and Reception Time.
To secure your booking a 30% non-refundable deposit is required within fourteen (14) days of The Rustic Barn accepting your booking. Tentative bookings without a deposit paid and terms and conditions signed will only be held for a period of fourteen (14) days. The Rustic Barn reserves the right to release any tentative bookings after the fourteen (14) days.
Full payment must be received fourteen (14) days prior to your function.
Full payment of your booking is required at least fourteen (14) days prior to your wedding date. Services will not be provided without the final payment being received.
The Rustic Barn reserves the right to hold your credit card details for final settlement purposes. You will be notified regarding any charges processed on your credit card for any breakages, damages or incidentals. You must ensure that nothing is nailed, screwed or adhered in any way to any hire item unless prior permission is granted by The Rustic Barn. You are responsible for all damage to the property of The Rustic Barn caused by or arising from any act or omission by you, your guests or any other persons attending your wedding/function.
The Rustic Barn requires a bond for certain hire items. If a bond is required for your booking it will be clearly stated on the Hire Agreement. You must agree to these terms and return a signed copy of the Hire Agreement before we can secure your booking.
All cancellations are required in writing.
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the initial 30% deposit necessary to secure your booking. All subsequent payments of your booking will be refunded if The Rustic Barn receives request for cancellation, in writing, thirty (30) days prior to your function.
8.0 CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE rustic barn
If The Rustic Barn is unable to provide the hire goods or any other arrangements for your wedding/function or to otherwise perform the terms of your Hire Agreement and The Rustic Barn's failure is due to circumstances beyond its decision or control, The Rustic Barn is not responsible for any costs, damages or expenses that you may suffer or incur.
9.0 EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS
Where goods or services are supplied from an external supplier additional terms and conditions may apply, such as additional deposits, earlier confirmation of final numbers or cancellation fees. You are responsible for any fees that may apply in relation to the other supplier’s terms and conditions.
10.0 PRICE VARIATIONS
Whilst The Rustic Barn makes effort to ensure information printed or quoted is accurate and up to date we reserve the right to review the prices at any time.
The Rustic Barn reserve the right to take photos of our hire items and packages on your wedding day to be used for promotional purposes. We also connect with florists, event planners and photographers and reserve the right to cross post or share a photo if it features our wedding hire.

In paying the booking deposit, these terms and conditions are binding upon the client.

1.0 order information
At The Rustic Barn we hand-craft each item in our home decor range ourselves in The Rustic Barn workshop. While we do our best to ensure the information on our website is up to date and accurate, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your order will be in stock.
If your order is ready it will be dispatched within 24 hours or on the next business day. Otherwise, please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be hand-crafted with love. We will keep you updated via email and you will be notified when your order has been sent.
As your order is processed and dispatched as quickly as possible it may not be possible to cancel or change any details in your order once it has been placed. However, if you notice any misinformation or have any problems with your order please contact us in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to rectify, correct or cancel your order.
2.0 Return Policy
At The Rustic Barn we hope you love your new purchase. We will accept return of your order and refund you if your order has been delivered to you in faulty condition. If you believe your order is faulty, please contact us at The Rustic Barn prior to sending it back to us.
As we hand-craft these items ourselves we assess them at a high standard of integrity and quality, but we understand we occasionally make mistakes.Your rustic home decor order may be defined as faulty if your order is delivered in a damaged condition, if your order has been wrongly described or if your delivery is different to what you ordered.
Please contact us within fourteen (14) days if you believe your order is faulty. We will assess each claim on it's own merit.
3.0 delivery information
For delivery in Australia we use Australia Post. At The Rustic Barn Checkout you have the option to choose either Regular or Express Shipping to your state.
The estimated Express delivery time for metropolitan areas in Australia is 1-2 business days, and the estimated Express delivery time for rural or remote areas is 3-4 business days. The estimated Regular delivery time for metropolitan areas in Australia is 2-5 business days, and the estimated Regular delivery time for rural or remote areas is 2-7 business days.
Please note that there may be delays to these estimated shipping times during busy periods.
Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a tracking number and email updates about its progress so you know exactly when to expect it. Your order needs a signature upon delivery, so if there is no one around to receive it the Australia Post courier will leave a missed delivery card.
4.0 email marketing
For the subscription and receiving of emails, we follow the opt in/out policy. If you no longer wish to receive emails from us please click the unsubscribe link included in every message. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any problems with this service.
